tell us where you are right now and what you’ve been up to?
HOLA! I’m actually in my hotel in Paris hahhaha…ready to
do the next date of my residency at THE MIX club.
And last months I’ve been touring as usual and making some new tracks
for this summer.
What has been your highlight of 2006?
No doubt, my track ‘Strike Me Down’ and my remix of AME ‘Rej’…
in Spain my radio show that has been listened for huge amounts of people
and now I’m getting the best dj of the year by the deejay magazine
in Spain….
Please tell us about Factomania…
Well... it is the download website where u can find the most of my job
and labels….like the factoria, formula, the new one called fat xl
or the Miami based: Dutchie….also u can get some podcasts and digital
sessions….
What has been your proudest production moment so far?
Well…. I’m quite proud of everything I did but the most famous
was my remix of David Guetta’s ‘JUST A LITTLE MORE LOVE’
Is there one track or one artist you would really love to get
your hands on and remix?
Well…to produce id love to do Madonna or Depeche Mode…to
remix there is a few really hot people id love to remix.
Who else do you like to work with in the studio?
Well…I wanna do something with Groove Armada, John Dalhback or
Tom Novy and always is a big pleasure for me to work with Ismael Rivas
or Rene Amesz.
In your eyes what makes a good producer?
I don’t know what is a good producer hahahaha….but maybe
when u know what the people want to hear….when the sound is good….when
u can make the people dance….but not sure….
Any tips for budding producers out there?
Just do your music, don’t think is fashion or money…..
Who or what do you think will be big and really breakthrough
in 2007?
Rene Amesz and Ismael Rivas from Spain….also sounds good Henrik

You’ve obviously spent a lot of time playing for Pacha
in Ibiza and represent them worldwide… We want to know what is your
favourite night to play at Pacha in Ibiza and why?
Maybe PURE PACHA cos it is the most Pacha feeling night I reckon.
You famously mixed one of DJ Mag’s Face Off covermount
CDs with fellow Ibiza resident Jason Bye… Can you tell us about
the process involved and how you create the finish product?
We did by ourselves the mixes….so I sent my mix and they edited….
he’s a great guy who always is a pleasure to meet and work with.
Who does Wally Lopez like being on a line up with?
It’s always a pleasure to play with people as Darren Emerson, Sander
Kleinenberg, Pete Tong, Nic Fanculli, Roger Sanchez…I’m feeling
like at home when I shared a booth with them….I’d love to
be with Sven Vath, Tiga or Eric Prydz too…
How does playing in the UK compare to playing gigs in Spain?
Well…money HAHAHAHH UK is quite strange now with fees and all that
things…u need a huge track on a UK label to get good gigs….in
Spain I’m playing as my best now….like music is more or less
the same now…..UK has great sound systems better than in Spain…..
It’s your big Dusted debut at Canvas Sat 3rd Feb…
What can the Dusted crowd expect from your set?
To expect some good music…good vibe….and will do my best
for sure….really excited to play with dusted!
