NastyDirtySexMusic at Ministry of Sound
Saturday Session
Arriving at Ministry at 10 past 11 isn't normally a problem, but word of NDSM is well and truely out now, despite unusually little noise from Tim Sheridan this time (who has been busy with NDSM at Space in Ibiza over the summer). The guestlist queue was already around the block, but for some nights it's just worth it, so you grin and bear it. At least at Ministry you've got the music from the Bar being piped out to the entrance, to keep you amused...a bit.

So finally in, after much excited anticipation, we get to what this night is all about - the Music! First up in the Box were Mike Monday and Big Daddy G. Though I'm generally a big fan of Mike Monday's productions and had heard good things about the two of them on the decks, having guests start the night was a new idea for NDSM. In the end, their sound complimented Tim and Jo's, and Mike Monday did play his excellent 'Rumpfunk', which just works everytime!

Since the first NDSM at Ministry in London, I've been a convert and have always had a good night with Tim and Jo. And so at about 2:45am the temperature in the Box started rising...literally! Tim and Jo stepped up and the night kicked into a higher gear twisting into banging, heavy basslines and electro-sexy mayhem. It did get a bit
hot and sweaty in there, but that just makes it all the more nasty dirty and sex. And the music? Well, as always, Tim and Jo did not disappoint!!

And so, to finish, the low down on the future of NDSM from Tim Sheridan himself:

"Sadly NDSM will end on NYE. 2 more before then, 8th Oct and Dec 10th
as well as us taking over the whole venue on NYE. Jo is bowing out to
follow her solo career. It's not hype. Not sure what I'll do yet."

Sad indeed.
